Hello Panther Families!
This last week has been such a difficult time for our world, our country, our state, our county, and our school. I am so grateful for your patience as we all try to navigate this new reality we’re now living in. Our teachers are working so hard to get distance learning set up for their students and our support staff is working hard to keep our students fed and equipped to access the curriculum remotely. I will create an InTouch message that will go out at 12:30 PM on Thursday, March 26th, detailing how to pick up Chromebooks if your child needs one. Those families who do not currently have access to the Internet should be hearing from someone at Volcano Communications soon about getting that set up for free. Your child/children’s teacher(s) will be in touch with you by the end of the day on Friday, if they have not already, to let you know how to access their online curriculum beginning on Monday, March 30th. I’ve received some positive feedback from parents about how hard everyone at school is working for their children and let me say that we appreciate it greatly! We’re all in this together, and together we are better! Please check Pioneer VAPA Magnet School PPTO’s Facebook page for fun links for your children and other updates.
