Good afternoon, Panther families! This is Mrs. Glaister, principal of Pioneer Elementary, with a few reminders for you about next week.
First, I want to remind you to charge your child’s Chromebook this weekend so that when you return it, we can turn it on together to make sure it’s in working condition. Please don’t forget to bring back the headphones and charge cable, and if you borrowed a hotspot, that you return that with its charge cable and box as well. Thank you in advance for your help with this.
Next, if your child was in band this year, please bring their instrument with you when you come to collect their belongings.
Unfortunately, I have not heard from anyone who is interested in being part of our wonderful Parent Teacher Organization nor our School Site Council for next year. These are two very important groups that support our students’ educational experience. Without them, we will not be able to do all the wonderful things we would do during a normal school year. You can be as involved as you want or as your schedule allows, but we really need volunteers. If you would like more information about either the PPTO or the site council, please send me an email.
Lastly, the schedule for next week’s pick up of students belongings is as follows:
On Monday, June 1st, kindergarten and 3rd grade may pick up from 8:30-10:30, 1st and 4th grades may pick up from 10:30-12:30, and 2nd, 5th, and 6th grades may pick up from 12:30-2:30.
On Tuesday, June 2nd, 2nd, 4th, and 5th grades may pick up from 8:30-10:30, 3rd and 6th grades may pick up from 10:30-12:30, and kindergarten and 1st grade may pick up from 12:30-2:30.
On Wednesday, June 3rd, 1st and 6th grades may pick up from 8:30-10:30, kindergarten, 2nd, and 5th grades may pick up from 10:30-12:30, and 3rd and 4th grades may pick up from 12:30-2:30.
Remember to pull as far forward as you can and stay inside your vehicle. Someone will come out to help you.
