Principal’s Message

Hello Pioneer Panthers and Families!

I’m excited to welcome you to the 2026-27 school year. The first day of school is August 12, 2026!  I am thankful for the opportunity to serve the community where my family resides in the Upcountry area of Amador County.  

My love of learning began when I was in elementary school.  As a lifelong learner, my academic journey continued with the completion of my undergraduate studies, and then obtaining an MA in Education and an MS in Education Administration.  Additionally, I received my Doctorate in Educational Leadership at Cal State East Bay. 

I have been a public school educator for 30 years, at the elementary school level.  This includes serving as a classroom teacher, Assistant Principal, and Principal.  Most recently, I served as an Elementary School Principal in Hayward, California, for the past fifteen years.  

I am dedicated to safety, student achievement, and parent engagement.  I look forward to meeting you and serving the community at Pioneer Elementary!
