The ACUSD/ACOE Community Newsletter is a weekly communication from the Amador County Unified School District and Amador County Office of Education. The purpose of this newsletter is to keep our families, staff, and community members informed about our district!

Coffee & Connection - May Gathering

The Amador County Special Education Community Advisory Committee (CAC) invites you to the May Coffee & Connection gathering!

🕕 6:00 PM

📍 First 5 Amador, 975 Broadway, Jackson, CA 95642

Light meal and childcare provided!

JJHS Drama presents Romeo and Juliet

Jackson Junior High Drama proudly presents William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, starring Meris Schauer as Romeo and Adelyn Pochodowicz as Juliet.

Performances will be held in the JJHS Gym on Tuesday, May 19th, and Thursday, May 21st, at 6 pm.

Admission is free, with a recommended $5 donation for adults, $2 for students.

School Board Updates

The next School Board meeting will take place on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at the Amador County Administration Center located at 810 Court St. Jackson, CA 95642.

ACOE Open Session will begin at 5:30 pm.

ACUSD Open Session will begin at 7:00 pm.
